| Question: |
What school issues the college credits? |
| Answer: |
Academic credits are issued by
Pima Community College
(PCC), located in Tucson, Arizona.
PCC is accredited by the
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
(NCA), one of six regional accrediting bodies authorized by the U.S. Department of Education
to accredit all major colleges and universities in the country. |

| Question: |
Will credits from PCC transfer to another college or university? |
| Answer: |
Transferability of credits and degrees is
a matter determined by the institution receiving the credits. Credit transfer
acceptance decisions are usually made separately for each individual student, and depend on
several factors. Many institutions do readily accept transfer credits as long as the credits were earned
from accredited institutions. PCC is a well-known and fully-accredited institution,
which means that PCC credits are often accepted for transfer to other institutions.
However, any ITCAP student wishing to transfer PCC course credits to another institution
should consult registration personnel at that institution at the earliest opportunity to
ensure that the desired transfer will be accepted. |

| Question: |
What courses are available for college credit? |
| Answer: |
The official ITCAP curriculum is
constantly growing. The current curriculum includes a wide variety of
courses covering information technology, desktop applications, project management,
professional development, and other core business and industry training
curricula. See this web site for a complete list of
qualifying courses and related degree programs. |

| Question: |
What is the difference between ITCAP and ACE? |
| Answer: |
ACE (American Council on Education) evaluates vendor training
and recommends the number of credits that colleges or universities could theoretically recognize for each
course. However, even with ACE recommendations in hand, many tuition reimbursement programs still
require employees to register at an accredited college, and then attempt to convince that
college to accept the ACE credit recommendation. Credits earned through ITCAP, on the other hand, are actual academic college credits issued by a public community college. |
